This is the first year I did not participate in the pillow fight.  For the past 2 years I had arrived to the scene in complete fencing uniform, complete with my fencing mask (photographic proof at the end of post).  Last year I decided it was a bad idea since many pillow fighters cried out “CHEATER!” at me and began wailing on my head as if it was a danger to them.  This year I took a passive part in the fight and took photos.  This year I observed a drop in attendance, although every year the press doubles, hopefully it was the cold and not loss of interest.
